Relaxology&Wellbeing Treatments is owed and managed by Siobhan McQuillan (M.I.R.I, I.G.C.T)
The word 'Relaxology' I'm often asked about, and it's quite a cute and simple story. It comes from when my littlest daughter was very little and couldn't pronounce 'Reflexology' and I thought it was very fitting considering how relaxing Reflexology is- so it stayed!
Reflexology was my first in depth training in holistic modalities around 9 years ago, after many years in hair, beauty and health. I had received a holistic reflexology session myself with amazing results, I couldn't believe how good I felt all because someone had 'rubbed my feet!' I began researching and my brain quite literally felt as if fireworks were going off with the information I was learning, it was so much more than a foot rub, I loved it!
My passion for Reflexology truly was born instantly, and I don't see that passion ever settling down.
I am very blessed to have been taught and guided through many of my qualifications by such an amazing woman, an inspiration. I loved my years with this most humble mentor.
I continued years of training, In all areas of Reflexology and many other treatments along the way.

We just love Essential oils! We use oils throughout all our treatments! From our refreshing homemade Peppermint&Teatree foot scrub to our skin loving Geranium and Neroli homemade facial toner.
We also blend for individual needs if the treatment requires- allergies and sensitivities are noted in consultation.

We aim to provide you with a treatment tailored specifically to you as an individual. We are not about going through the same routine steps with everyone who comes through the door. Each treatment is as unique as the person receiving it. We care about your well being. and your relaxation. This is our top priority while you receive a treatment with us.

Holistic Treatments
We strongly believe in a holistic approach to our services, which simply means seeing and treating a person as a whole person. Their needs and requirements physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Each aspect as important as the next, because they're all contributing to the overall whole.
Holistic treatments can also be a great asset along side medical treatments. For the purposes of relaxation many doctors and consultants encourage holistic treatments to help improve a patients sense of well-being and reduce levels of stress they may be feeling.
Wellness of the Mind
Our mind is the place where our internal dialog runs, where we speak to ourselves everyday, Why wouldn't we take care of it and make it the best place it can possibly be?
Lets use the word computer for emphasis
The computer is working day and night, taking in continuous information, with thousands of tabs open, running on top of each other, alongside each other, over and under each other, bumping into each other and each day being added to. What would we expect to happen when it receives no updates, no occasional reset or total switch off.
Would we expect this computer to work with precision, or would we expect faults and a possible crash?
The latter is the most likely outcome.
The importance of updating our 'mental software' as we grow and change is becoming more widely understood and recognised, as is the importance of 'switching off', serving as a reset button for the mind.
